Sam Tamblyn, Managing Director

Sam Tamblyn is the founder and Managing Director of Urban Property Australia. Sam is principally involved in managing the overall direction of the business in conjunction with undertaking institutional valuation and strategic advisory assignments for key financial and corporate clients.

Sam has more than eleven year’s property valuation, acquisition and finance experience, having worked in Melbourne, Los Angeles and New York in these capacities. Sam has previously been an Associate for Situs / Credit Suisse in New York completing debt underwriting and due diligence assignments for key Wall Street investment banks and institutions. Prior to Situs, Sam worked for Kimco Realty Corporation - the US’s largest owner of grocery anchored shopping centres in their acquisition and preferred equity groups, assisting senior management in the acquisition of a range of shopping centre, office and industrial properties for institutional joint venture partners. Sam was a certified practicing valuer in his earlier years working for CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) where he worked on a range of government, office, retail and industrial valuation assignments.

Sam currently serves on the Divisional Professional Board of the Australian Property Institute – Victorian Division. In his spare time Sam likes to play golf and socialise with friends.

• Bachelor of Business (Property) – RMIT University, Melbourne
